Carol
Havelka received her BM from the Manhattan School of Music in NYC
and has a broad and varied background. Having been a freelance symphonic
musician in NYC and Washington DC, she was a member of the Brooklyn
Philharmonic Orchestra with Lukas Foss and Dennis Russell Davies and
has performed on Broadway, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, as well as
the Kennedy Center and the National Gallery of Art. Ms. Havelka has
taught at the renowned School for Strings, Westchester Conservatory
and The 92nd Street Y and was a faculty member of the Eastern Music
Festival for 9 years. For several years she ran a private studio in
Kensington, MD.
Since 1994, Ms. Havelka has worked professionally as a web developer
and computer support specialist . Due to a horse related injury she
took a hiatus from the music world and she no longer performs. An equestrian
at heart, her family consists of one black lab, 3 cats, one horse and
her wonderful husband.
Robert
Gober, photographer - specializing in tabletop and other commercial
photography Robert has recently realized an affinity for equestrian
photography. He is an expert at computer generated photograph enhancements.
His work can be seen in several journals and catalogs, as well as the
web.
